Product Introduction

Wood carbonization furnace is an advanced continuous pyrolysis carbonization equipment specifically designed to convert various biomass raw materials, such as wood, wood chips, wood scraps, sawdust, coconut shells, bamboo powder, and palm fiber, as well as some solid waste and municipal sludge, into high-value-added products, including biochar, pyrolysis oil, and combustible gas, through high-temperature pyrolysis in an oxygen-deficient or low-oxygen environment.

The final products can be widely used in: barbecue charcoal, biomass fuel charcoal, biochar fertilizer, activated carbon raw materials, industrial fuel, soil improvement, and other fields.

Working Principle

The wood carbonization process can generally be simplified into the following four stages:
1. Drying stage: At low temperatures, the internal moisture of the wood gradually evaporates, and the wood composition remains essentially unchanged.
2. Pre-carbonization stage: As the temperature rises, unstable components such as hemicellulose begin to decompose, producing small amounts of gas and organic matter.
3. Carbonization stage: Cellulose and lignin rapidly pyrolyze, producing large amounts of wood gas, tar, and combustible gases, and the wood gradually forms charcoal.
4. Calcination stage: At even higher temperatures, residual volatiles inside the charcoal continue to be released, thereby increasing the fixed carbon content and charcoal quality.
