Continuous carbonization furnaces are commonly used for the continuous high-temperature pyrolysis and carbonization of biomass raw materials, industrial waste, and organic matter. This equipment employs an automatic continuous feeding and discharging system, converting raw materials into charcoal, combustible gases, and wood vinegar as byproducts through high-temperature pyrolysis in an oxygen-deficient or anaerobic environment.

Suitable Raw Materials

1. Various waste biomass: straw, rice husks, hemp stalks, sawdust, bark, bamboo shavings, bamboo powder, branches, coconut shells, walnut shells, palm shells, peanut shells, date pits, fruit peels, cow bones, coffee grounds, pine cones, etc.;
2. Various garbage and sludge: domestic waste, paper mill waste, municipal sludge, river sludge, industrial sludge, printing and dyeing sludge, etc.;
3. Upgrading of chemical-grade lignite: carbonization of activated coke, semi-coke, magnesium oxide, sodium oxide, and other materials.

Production Process

1. Shredding
Large-size biomass materials are fed into the shredder for size reduction. Uniform particle size improves drying efficiency and ensures stable carbonization performance.
2. Rotary Drying
The shredded material enters the rotary dryer to reduce moisture content to the required level.
3. Continuous Carbonization
The dried biomass is continuously fed into the carbonization furnace.
Inside the oxygen-limited environment, biomass undergoes pyrolysis at high temperatures, converting organic matter into biochar and charcoal products.

4. Product Discharge
After cooling, the finished carbonized product is discharged and can be directly sold or further processed into briquettes, activated carbon, or other carbon products.
